BIOGRAPHY

Carla Luna White creates trip-hop tinged electro-pop that draws comparisons to Portishead and Kate Bush. Her approach to creating music begins in the bathtub where one sheds all guise of propriety. Then the electronic soundscapes are produced in Propellerhead Reason and recorded in her closet. The result is intimate lyric centred electro-pop featuring slow melty beats, dreamy feminine vocals, and direct trip hop influences. On her 10 song debut album themes tackled include the masturbation habits of Alexander Graham Bell, feminine yearning, putting men in cages, and never giving up. Carla Luna White’s defiant debut offers up a uniquely curious voice. Pass through a port into dark female experience coated in reverb and sensuality.
